Moonface would be sweet, but I don't know how it would play outside and to an unfamiliar crowd. Like I've listened to 2 and a half songs and it feels like I've been listening for 30 minutes. I'd watch if they were on the bill though.

Honestly I don't care how it would play to an unfamiliar crowd, for all the bullshit I have to put up with on the lineup every year. Krug meets the hipness quotient for Sasquatch regardless of what he's doing and it would kickass to have something that I care very much about seeing that would also keep all the fucking derpsteppers far, far away from me for forty-five minutes.

It'll be infinitely more interesting than She & Him, that's for sure.

I mentioned it earlier but it was in the midst of a bunch of other lame bands that I was joking about, so I'll say it again:

Zammuto

Nick Zammuto is one half of The Books and he's putting finishing touches on his first solo album and is planning to tour towards the end of the year. Fantastic, lovely, glitchy electronic stuff; I think it would be perfect.

please please please don't book this band. Have you listened to them alex or were you just swayed by the names?

I've only heard the one song. Seemed like a reasonable guess. Maybe not so much a suggestion.

Alright I've listened to a few songs. While I can get on board with the funk of it, Joss Stone is just pissing me off and Mick Jagger seems like the comedic relief.

Trying a little too hard to be important. I withdraw my suggestion, but can still see them being on at least 1 major festival next year.

Sweet Jesus can you imagine how dismal the lineup would be if Adam Snack's blew his whole fucking wad on a band with Mick Jagger in it that isn't even the Rolling Stones?

god that'd be the worst.

I'd love to see Zummuto there but I'm curious what the tour is going to look like. The books live show wouldn't fit anywhere at sasquatch (maybe during the day in the dance tent? I dunno needs to be somewhere where the videos are clearly visible) so if Zummuto is touring in a similar manner I wouldn't count on them. I'll definitely try and catch him when he comes through though

Oh, ooh -- how about Moonface? Tell Snack's to book Moonface. That's the one that's just Spencer Krug from Wolf Parade except for fucking sure it's more interesting than Wolf Parade ever was.

I want that one. He's even touring right now, new album and everything.

Keep in mind that Adam Snacks hates the Gramma. In last year's thread, every Gramma suggestion wasn't on the lineup, except when he seconded someone else's suggestion of Black Mountain.

I think quite a few of us would be happy if Portugal. The man ended up on the lineup again.

By the way, whats happening guys?
