I could see them playing Sasquatch for sure. And if they do, I plan on being at another stage. They're not really an act I enjoy.

They are certainly an acquired taste. I actually saw them a couple of weeks ago and loved every minute.

It's possible that post worked its way into my subconsious.

I dont mind that people like it, I just get really annoyed when people think that any time there is drinking or drungs involved the music must be 100% dubstep because anything else is too slow or depressing.

I was camping in the summer and there was a war going on about what music came out of the stereo at night. About 4 people played nothing but dub.

A beligerently drunk guy I met in a bar a few weeks ago summed up certain dubstep fans perfectly. Dub came up in conversation and he just went nuts.

"Oh man you guys like dubstep?!?! They are like the best band ever I love them so much. You know that song thats like ohmmmpwoommmwommowmowmwomwomw? Or the one thats like boom tsss boom tsss booowwwww booww boww booww boww? Fuck man those are like my 2 favourite songs right now!"

My one buddy who likes dubstep wasnt too impressed.

The good thing about festivals like Sasquatch is it's pretty rare that there's nothing I want to listen to on any of the stages. If one stage isn't to my liking, that usually just means one fewer conflict on the schedule for me.

Dubstep fans are the #1 reason that I might not enjoy a dubstep show. They completely ruined Nero for me, as well as Skrillex (though to be fair about 1/2 of the ruin of Skrillex was Skrillex' own performance).

Of course, I'm old and curmudgeonly by the standards of most dubstep kidz.

Pretty Lights and Ghostland Observatory would make for some killer late sets. There are not many artists right now that can match the stage production they have.

Amon Tobin would be fucking epic. I can see him taking his show to some festivals next year.

DJ Shadow. The Shadowsphere.

I think Justice would be the obvious electronic act, since they have a new album coming out and they're fucking awesome.

Amon Tobin's ISAM would be goddamn unreal. That said, here's hoping he brings that to Coachella.

Primus closing out Monday or perhaps Primus headlining Friday. One will destroy me for the rest of the fest, the other for my ride home, both will be the greatest.

Before this turns into the wish list thread, I created that thread tonight. Post your wish lists here:

http://sasquatchfest.proboards.com/index....sic&thread=1598

We've established fairowen knows Adam Snacks, and will provide him a list of this board's suggestions, so try to keep it manageable.

Look at it this way, if you randomly met Adam Snacks at a show, and had 30 seconds to tell him who you think should play Sasquatch 2012, know that he would forget every band you mention if you provide a list of 56 instead of two. This thread is about who makes sense, a band Adam Snacks might not know much about.

Alright, I better narrow down my list a bit

I think if nothing else this year we'll see an EDM subheadliner. Justice seems like the best band that can share the adoration of the typical hipsters and ravers so my vote is for them to subheadline. It'll be interesting to see what size venues they're playing at when they announce their tour.

I'll second Xiu Xiu as a wonderful live act but I find it really hard to imagine either the band or Adam Snacks thinking they're a good fit for the festival. On a related note, I would imagine that 90's alt rock reunions will be avoided after the turnout at GBV and Archers of Loaf last year (so I wouldn't hold your breath on Pulp or Superchunk although both would be wonderful surprises)
