I'm talking about the fact that every year I see a dozen fifteen and sixteen year old kids with paper-white faces and blistered lips being dragged to the medical tent because they can't be bothered to leave the pit long enough to drink a bottle of fucking water. And I'm talking about the fact that if your moms is insisting on making decisions about your trip for you, that indicates that you aren't capable of making them for yourself.
