I'd say we got a pretty good chance of them being at Sasquatch :P
Oh wow, we actually have something now?

I think both would be great fits for sasquatch but I wouldn't say to expect them based on those tour dates. I hope they make it though. chune-Yards put on a hell of a show

I don't know if this was already talked about but seattle weekly just pointed out that The War on Drugs is on tour with Sharon Von Etten but is not playing the Seattle date in March. I'd expect them to be there

Acts like chune-Yards, St. Vincent and The War on Drugs are basically givens. I have absolutely no doubt that all three will be there.

Half the lineup is going to consist of Pitchfork bands and you know it.

Back when I used to write reviews of shows, I wrote a Pavement review which I'm pretty sure you read. I don't recall exactly what Malk said, but it was something to do with how Sasquatch is meant for little kids.

Pitchfork is bound to get a few right from time to time. St. Vincent and The War on Drugs are fucking awesome. I still haven't really gotten into chuneyards or Sharon Van Etten.

I missed St. Vincent's last Sasquatch set. I won't make that mistake again.

chune-Yards is alright... Half of that album is amazing, but the other half (and the girl herself) are annoying as fuck. About what you'd expect from a band that employs random capitalisation in the spelling of its name.

Yeah, that capitalization is obnoxious. It looks like it'd be better suited for a 12-year old's Xanga or MySpace account.

I learned about her when I was working for WYEP in Pittsburgh. I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed with the album, but something tells me that album would have a ton of fun energy live.

I didn't even know who she was until I casually walked by during her Yeti performance. But after watching her for about 20 minutes I found her to be interesting and unique, with a quirky stage presence to boot. I hope that if she does play, it's not a mainstage performance because I think she'd be a bit overwhelmed and the intimacy could be lost.

I agree with you HG, that her album is decent enough to warrant a listen or two, but by the end of it I'm pretty irritated.

Good lord. The Polyphonic Spree is so fucking dumb. They're like Edward Nutsack and the Magnetic Nutsacks for five year olds with ADD.

How about Tripping Daisy instead?

It was pretty good, not her best. It was an afternoon spot with the sun in its worse spot for that stage. Seemed like the band couldn't quite get into it.

I've seen her a couple other times in smaller venues and she is positively electric, though - so maybe she'll get a better spot on the schedule this year.
