Not a lineup rumor but still a rumor. Someone just posted this on the facebook page;

And then they posted a link to the sasquatch page that says nothing about this. Could this finally be happening or is this person just your average facebook ratard?

New for 2012:

Patrons who purchase a 4-day festival ticket will be allowed re-entry from the Festival grounds! This will not apply to any other ticket, only the 4-day pass.

If you purchase the 4-day festival ticket, you will receive just one ticket that will be good for all four days. Keep your ticket in a safe place: tickets cannot be replaced.

Remember to take your ticket with you to the Festival. If you forget or lose your ticket, you will not be able to enter the camp ground or the festival. The Gorge Box Office will not be able to reissue tickets no matter what the reason.

When you arrive at the Gorge, 4-day ticket holders will be required to exchange their ticket for a 4-day wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced. They cannot be removed and must be worn all four days to allow entry. Please don't remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.

Nada Surf are releasing a new album on Barsuk in January. They're touring behind it in the spring. They only have dates scheduled through April 10th. They're playing Seattle on February 2nd (likely before when the Sasquatch lineup will be announced) at the end of a run of only three US dates. The bulk of their US tour 3/20 - 4/10 with a show in Portland but not in Seattle. I wouldn't say they're necessarily likely, but I'd say they're possible.

Just looked it up and apparently Nada Surf has only played Sasquatch twice. For some reason I assumed they had been there every other year. Ultimate midday filler band.

In 2010 they closed out the Bigfoot stage on Saturday night. They were pretty awesome and much more entertaining than Vampire Weekend.

Vampire Weekend put on an amazing show when I saw them. I can only imagine how it much better it would be at the gorge.
