Why? This is obviously not even a tenth of the whole lineup.

And I'm the first to confirm KoL, also from the End, go upthread and see.

NIN and Jane's Addiction? Wow I might stay home this year. Good thing that is probably unfounded and thus belongs in a different thread.

I heard it on the radio, how the fuck do you prove that?

She also said Silversun Pickups, that was the one band I couldn't remember.

...one of the major radio stations that support the event is saying so, and it's unfounded?

Oh you're right, my bad. By the way, I heard -- ON THE RADIO, MIND YOU -- that THE SMITHS are reforming. CONFIRMED.

Bah,
Nothing is official until Tuesday, but I'll vouch for Coren from past interactions and stuff. Some people are attention whores, some people aren't.

Also: The End was the station that were the first to announce the lineup last year.

Also: This is the first I've heard of Airborne Toxic Event. Research revealed this: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/re....rne-toxic-event

Thanks chief

Plus, it's not like I have anything to gain - the entire lineup is out Tuesday at the latest (maybe tomorrow), and I've only posted lately to put bands up (and KoL, my last one, confirmed)

Why is this so hard to believe? NIN and Jane's Addiction are two of the heavily favored favorites (from the department of redundancy department). I don't really care who says it, it sounds legit to me.

Seriously though: is anyone dying to see Jane's Addiction or NIN? Toxic Airborne Event, aside from a dreadful name, aren't very inspiring. TV On The Radio might be ok, I kind of like that Gaslight Anthem record... nothing too inspiring though from this shortlist. Hopefully a stronger undercard?
