Ant chance that it could be blink 182 as the reunion band coming to Sasquatch?

If Snoop is who he's talking about, I really can't see that happening at Sasquatch! He doesn't seem to fit in there at all. Unless they are taking a whole other direction with this festival. If this Kanye-like performer is true (no offense, but I'm having a hard time believing anything on a message board unless it has a legitimate source). The closest artist to him at Roo, in my opinion, would be Santogold.......... I mean Santigold.

It's not Snoop or Santi but I knew the Bonnaroo hint would lead to those guesses! Maybe I'm not seeing the Kanye vibe the same way that others did but oh well. No more clues. It's only a few days away now anyways.

TV on the Radio has the same vibe as Kanye did in 05. Meaning on the cusp of enormous commercial success and great critical success. I would love if the Kanye of this year is them.

Blink 182 reunion would be at Warped Tour or Key Arena. I would love it, but Sasquatch doesn't work for that kind of band... even if it is more diverse than ever.
Lupe Fiasco could very well play this year, right? In the Kanye Spot.

Probably won't happen. The point of a festival, especially one like Sasquatch seems to just always have different music coming.
07 had Bjork, Arcade Fire, and Manu Chao; and Beasties, Interpol, and Spoon. 08 had Lips, Mars Volta, and Flight of the Conchords; The Cure, Death Cab, and Michael Franti; REM, Modest Mouse, and MIA.
They never really have a lot to do with each other. Sure you can relate Death Cab and the Cure and MM was opening for REM on their tour. But outside of that, not a whole lot. Having rap follow rap, while I enjoy both, doesn't really seem to be Sasquatch's thing. It's not really a diverse thing to do that.

Speaking of Arcade Fire what are the odds of them coming back this year? They have a couple shows in NC in the first week of may, perhaps the come to Sasquatch? It is prolly 99.9% a NO but I am just curious on any thoughts.

Arcade Fire probably wouldn't. Just because they have already been in top spots two times. Sure it could be an every other year type of thing, but I highly doubt it. I would love it, but personally I don't see Arcade Fire as the type of band that travels across the country for a performance then goes all the way back.

God I hope so!!!! Maybe they'll do a tour with Puddle of Mudd and Staind, and they'll happen to stop by Vantage or Ephrata, and I can bail on a day of Sasquatch!

Just to show that I'm not bullshitting and to show that occasionally you can trust what some people say on the internet, I've published the five bands I know online with a timestamp that shows they went up today. I'll post the URL once the announcement comes out (or the night before if I have a few drinks).

offyerhead I am excited to see this. The timestamp can easily be changed though. Now if you commented the blog with a timestamp! THAT would be legit.
I am also sad I cannot find your blog. I found you enjoy poker, so do I . But Google didn't bring me your blog
