I think KoL would make a great friday night headliner. They're one of the biggest bands in rock right now and they just sold out Madison Square Garden . If the Flaming Lips can close out the festival , then KoL can certainly open it .

Below is the Friday lineup on the main stage at Glastonbury last year. So sure Kings of Leon headlined, but who else was going to? * Kings of Leon * The Fratellis * Editors * The Gossip * The Feeling * KT Tunstall * Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly * The Subways * Kate Nash
It is not like they headlined over Jay-Z, Leonard Cohen, Massive Attack, Amy Winehouse, Manu Chao, Raconteurs, James Blunt, Neil Diamond, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, the National and the Verve.
I agree they are a bigger draw since their new album was released, but seriously, who wants Kings of Leon to headline? You wouldn't rather see a bigger draw headline, and Kings of Leon sub-headline? You get to see them either way.
Sasquatch promoting Kings of Leon as a headliner would almost be as funny as Coachella promoting the Killers as a headliner.

I am a huge KoL fan and I would super excited if they were there, but I do agree that a bigger name should headline. I would kinda be peeved if that was one of the biggest names they could get to headline.

Haven't heard anything, but I'd say that chances are pretty good. I believe he last played in '06? Not a big fan of the new album, but Trouble is one of my favourites.
I doubt Bedouin will be there. Last I heard they were opening for No Doubt on their upcoming tour. Yuck.

a sound engineer/roadie friend CLAIMS he's been hired to work a segment of the No Doubt tour and that one of the legs will take them to the gorge. He doesn't know if it's for No Doubt, Paramore, The Sounds or even Bedouin Sound Clash. Maybe one of them, maybe more...
I would take info from him with a grain of salt... just passing it along.

There's always a chance they're just playing the Gorge. But if they did do Sasquatch, either the Sounds or Bedouin would be awesome.

I think the gorge will have an awesome summer run of concerts with coldplay already being announced, no doubt wouldn't be a show I would goto but I know a lot of people that would enjoy seeing them again

Ray Lamontagne last played in 05. If my memory is correct he was between Bloc Party and Arcade Fire. That was a bitchin' awesome show [even if it was a 1000 degrees]

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the Constantines as a possibilty yet or not. I see that they are touring soon and have new music out, and played back in 06. Actually I think they were on stage when the hail started.

The Constantines would be amazing. I saw them in 2006 and they definitely were on stage when the hail started. They were also beyond loud and one of the best shows i've ever seen. My friend turned to me in the middle of the show to try and say he was gonna move his stuff cause of the hail and I could not hear a single word he said.

the Constantines are doing a cross canada tour with the Weakerthans they end there tour on May 4th. It would be great if both bands could make it to sasquatch even though Weakerthans aren't that big in the US.
