I've never seen them play, but the following video is a decent live version of Slow. It's played at a much quicker tempo, which has me hoping the whole set is just as upbeat. The 1:00 time slot is lame, but it should be an awesome Chromeo warmup. Anyone else planning on getting in early enough for to see them on Monday?

I will most likely check them out. I dig some of their stuff.

If I couldn't locate the desire to be inside the venue at 1:00pm for Midlake last year, then it's almost certain that I never will.

Saw them in april in San Francisco... they opened for the Pains of being pure at heart and absolutely blew them out of the water.

They played "slow" the same way as in your video, with the slow beginning and then jump starting to the normal pace of the song.

Their live show definitely has more of a "rock" vibe to it than the album, which is especially evident in the more "dance-pop" songs like "when we're dancing" and "at my heels." The Live version of "Castles in the snow" was INCREDIBLE.

The only downside was that they rocked out the ballads like"love is a tyrant" and my favorite - "forget" a little too much. All in all a great live show that I suggest any fan - casual or hardcore to experience.

I'm pretty sure anyone who has opened for PoBPaH has blown them out of the water.

I'll be up early but to see Young the Giant instead.

They were quite good at coachella. I will possibly make a halfhearted attempt to make it in for this

The early time slot blows but if I can make it into the gate by then I will definitely be there, they were one of the bands I was more excited for

This is one of the smaller acts I'm really looking forward too. Here's hoping to being awake in time for his set. I'll at least have my French press with me to ease the exhaustion I'm sure to feel from the aftermath of Sunday evening

Well, I don't think I've ever slept past 8:00 at Sasquatch. For me, it's whether I want to play babysitter and make sure my entourage can make it into the festival for a set time. This usually means giving everyone a countdown to departure at ten minute intervals starting 90 minutes before we need to move. I could also cruise solo, but that's definitely not as fun. Hopefully our neighbors are a good group of people and more excited about Twin Shadow than my friends.

Yeah last year I had to play babysitter with a bunch of people who just went to party and didn't know jack shit about the bands playing. This year I'm just gonna go to the shows I want to see and tell my friends to suck it

This is why I fly solo to shows. So many bad experiences with people who don't go to shows the same way I do.

Except going to shows with someone who DOES do shows like you do is the best thing ever. One of the many reasons I love my girlfriend.

I think I'm just gonna have to make friends once I get there, or find someone who wants to go to the exact same shows as me
