I have been planning out my schedule and I think Saturday is the best day in my opinion. Not just because of Bright Eyes but because I have a full schedule of bands I want to see, with no breaks, starting at noon with the Seattle Rock Orchestra and ending at 12:30am with Bassnectar. Saturday is going to rock! I hope my Biffy Clyro hangover isn't too bad because I need to be in there by noon.

Really?

Can you help me out? I'm trying to Dr. Garbanzoure out what to do with the giant hole between Wolf Parade and Sleigh Bells. I guess I could take a nap... I just need to Dr. Garbanzoure out a name as clever as 'Naptional'... Napped Out? Sleepy Eyes? The Thermal Blankets? Ok now I'm reaching...

Seriously, what is good in that hole? I dont mind Matt and Kim, I could see Washed Out, The Antlers maybe, I could try and get into Iron and Wine... but nothing really peaks my interest too much.

Matt and Kim into Robyn is going to be awesome. I'm gonna be dancing my ass off. I'd also like to catch a bit of Glitch Mob and The Thermals.

Saturday is definitely my busiest day as well.

Well this is what I am doing for the whole day, but you probably have a completely different opinion:

Seattle Rock Orchestra
The Globes
The Head and the Heart
Local Natives
1/2 set Wolf Parade
J Mascis
Pink Martini (wildcard pick that I think will payoff)
A couple songs from The Antlers
Iron and Wine
Bright Eyes
Last couple songs of The Glitch Mob or Robyn
1/2 of DCFC's set
BASSNECTAR!

Yeah my Saturday is a bit different.

SRO
Radio Dept
K-OS (mock me if you must)

Then curse the orgainzers and run my ass off to try and see:

Aloe Blacc (half), Dan Mangen (half), Trailer Park Boys (half), Wolf Parade (all)
And to do that I have to totally miss Local Natives, which I thought would have been fun.

Then I am pretty damn uninspired untill Sleigh Bells. Its not that I hate all of those bands, but none of them really make me want to see them either.

Anyone know if any of the afternoon bands on saturday are particularly good live? I'm open to sugestions on this one.

I'll be at The Antlers and Matt & Kim since I've heard very good things about both of their live shows and I've already seen Iron & Wine. Iron & Wine is great too though. Damn funny guy :P

Also you could always go watch/chant WKD ;)

I just want rant about how fucking mediocre I think the Cold War Kids are. Seems like all of their albums are droning series of boring ass, chuneless songs. The only reason I'm slaving through their set is because I'm basically at the mainstage the entire day and I wanna get a good spot for Flogging Molly and The Flaming Lips.

I don't understand sitting through bands you hate to 'get a good spot' for bands you like. Unless you're front and center in the pit there are very few places in the venue that you can't wedge yourself into between acts. Especially mid-day acts when people are running all over to catch bands anyway. And if you want to be front and center in the pit, that's usually a full-day commitment.

I must say, I quite like this one. I really dont know much about Jenny and Johnny, but people seem to like them, so I will have to give them a few listens. I dont mind Wye Oak and that is around dinner time anyway, so I can always watch from the picnic tables as I eat my food. I might see a tad of Pink Martini just out of curiosity too I suppose. The Antlers/ Iron and Wine/ Matt and Kim part will be a game time decision based on mood, with Matt and Kim ending it regardless. See how my energy is doing for glitch mob and when that ends get in for Sleigh Bells... then Bassnectar.

I guess its not really that bad, thanks guys!

Edit: I could always pop over to WKD if I need to rest before Sleigh Bells and see how the chant is going too.
