I know they won't do it but they really should be a late night set. Their music sounds kind of ridiculous in the daylight

It doesn't really fit a late night slot, but sunset I would love to see.

Really? I feel that the whole idea of Gayngs revolves around late night.

I mean it's not exactly dance music, which is what they tend to reserve the slot for. This is fucking music and we all know people fuck at sunset at Sasquatch.

A sunset "Gayng" bang... Yeah that'll definitely happen.

I'm (optimistically) hoping that Justin will join Gayngs at Squatch and maybe get added in as a solo act replacement?

What do we Dr. Garbanzoure the odds on this are? Am I naive to consider it?

I was blown away by the Bon Iver set in '09. Didn't think his music would translate to the fest atmosphere but ended up being a highlight. So... I have my fingers crossed.

Justin does show up at the end of the Coachella set, so it is possible he will be there. Still wouldn't hold out too much hope for a Bon Iver add.

YOWZZA! Thanks Fox. I'm seeing this at Sasquatch for sure. This looks very very very very fun.

Well that sounded great for the three minutes I listened to it before it said I had watched 72 minutes of Megavideo today. They are only like 69 minutes off.

I think you're going to end up being right but they've only had late night sets for one year so it's not like there is a real pattern to base this off of.

It makes sense to put the huge light-show-danceathon at the end....

I'm a little sad to see no P.O.S., but Har-Mar Superstar, (the caped big guy in the video,) is pretty fun to watch.

I feel ya, Foxy. Though hell, this could be a nice change of pace having Gayngs as a late night act. I mean shit, they already have EDM stuff going on in the tent, so why not? Though how knows how many illegitimate baybeez might be conceived in tents that night if it IS put late night.

But really though, whereas the usual late night involves rave dancing until you just can't do it anymore then being exhausted on the walk back, Gayngs might be a nice more "time to cool down and groove" atmosphere. I'm just spitballin' here though.

word. I definitely wish Sasquatch would take the late night sets in that direction more than the thumping dance party. that said, Ratatat should be pretty sweet.

a 7pm slot on the Bigfoot stage for Gayngs would be perfect. sun would be setting by the end. City and Colour has a higher billing and will probably play then, but maybe they'll get pushed earlier because their music doesn't sound ridiculous in the daylight. either way Gayngs has worked their way onto my can't-miss list too.

Bon Iver will play a Mariachi set on Friday.
