I fail to see the humor in any of this.

Yeah, I was just playin' anyway. I can handle the negativity towards my bro Conor.

My laughter wasn't really about being negative to Mr. Connor, it's just a (really really really really really really) funny and awesomely absurd joke (as long as it is directed at a person whose real life brother did not for realz die.) Truthfully I'm only aware of IWAAIIM and a few songs here and there regarding Bright Eyes. So I haven't been too vocal about them on the board.

I just thought the Jeff Foxworthy thing was funny. One of the few instances that ever happens.

Yeah, I personally respect Conor. I was just making a topical joke, yankin' some chains and whatnot.

Bright Eyes put on a great show. I was also at the Crystal show last weekend. Good stuff, but after Fleet Foxes on May 1st, I think it will be my last show there. I'm sick of the sh!t dance music coming from Lola's Room drowning out the finer moments of the main show. They totally fucking ruined GYBE and tainted some of the quieter Bright Eyes songs. Enough is enough.
That said, the band rocked it and thought I know it won't be as good, look forward to seeing them again at the 'Squatch.
For the Conor-curious on here, definitely check out some of the newer stuff. His earlier work is an acquired taste. My GF hates him, but even she can get into Cassadaga (in moderation). Teh People's Key is equally solid. I have big love for Fevers, Digital and other classics, but if you're just getting a taste, start new and work your way back.
