My first Flaming Lips show was this year at Sasquatch, as embarrassing as that might be, and I was very disappointed. I know that they are an amazing band and I know that maybe they are past their prime, but it just made me hate myself for missing them so many times before...especially the UFO show. I don't know if I can buy a ticket to their show now based on that set, even though I know they are a great band.

I realize that I sound like I am agreeing with him but I have to be honest about my only Flaming Lips experience. It was one of my least favorite sets at Sasquatch 2011, which was a let down because they were obviously on my "top 10 must see" list.

Pretty sure there were more people at MSTRKRFT then at The Flaming Lips on Sunday at Osheaga. They were doing the Soft Bulletin again, so I learned my lesson from sasquatch and stayed for Race for the Prize and then left for MSTRKRFT.

I have seen System of a Down live in concert and at least they do not stand around on stage impressively putting thousands to sleep.
The Flaming Lips were the #1 BIGGEST disappointment out of the four festivals I attended in May/June (Jazzfest; Sasquatch; Wakarusa; and Bonnaroo).
It is amazing how many people dangle from the man's scrotum when he is sucks so much.
