I just want to say that I had to leave in the middle of THE FLAMING FUCKING LIPS because my friend had too many party favors and had to go to the quincy hospital to be treated for an ulcer. We left as soon as he called to pick him up. Long story short(er), it sucked to hear Do You Realize? on the way back to the campground.

As such, I am very excited for THE FLAMING FUCKING LIPS!

Fortunately, I have undergone rigorous lifeguard and CPR training. No drowning in confetti will occur as long as those in risk flail enough to catch my attention. I'll be the man wearing the white tanktop and bright red shorts with the aviators and whistle.

these guys have been on the tops of my bands i really want to see and havent seen yet. can knock off deerhunter and flying lotus too, but flaming lips are actually tops. soft bulletin is gonna be nice, excited to see what else they will play and how much other stuff they will play

This will be my third time seeing the Lips at Sasquatch. They are one of my favorite bands and their live show is fucking rad. Soft Bulleting is one of my favorite albums of all time, I can't wait to see them to recreate it. Has anyone else tested out 2 Blobs Fucking? I tried a bunch of different variations with 2 macs and 2 iPhones. It's pretty awesome. Shows off the Lips' genius and creativity.

The Flaming Lips doing the Soft Bulletin is going to be in the style of Beowulf.

I saw them for the first time at Sasquatch when he came out of the UFO and then again when they played last year. Oh yeah I also saw them at Edgefield in Portland. I think this is going to rival the awesomeness of the first time.
