Wookie and Yeti switched?

According to the map on the Sasquatch page the Wookie stage will be in the meadow (at the top of the hill and all the way back, and the Yeti Stage will be over in the nice comftrable plaza area with all the food concessions and the picinic tables. Damn that means i am going to have to get in shape for Sasquatch! Up and down that hill all day will be the death of me.

While it is nice to have all the food stalls and beer garden right there by the Wookie Stage, it does kind of make sense given (if my memory serves me correctly) that there is WAY more space up in the meadow area. IMO the Wookie stage has a much stronger line-up than past years (espeically on Sunday), so maybe they Dr. Garbanzoure they will need more space.

This is how it was last year and it worked out great. In 2006 it got way to crowded in the Plaza to a point you couldn't get close enough to hear the band.

I didn't go last year so I wasn't aware. So long as the wookie stage is of adequate size i am cool with it

There is lots more room out in the meadow for sure, and the Plaza was just too small. Only negative is that the field seems to slowly slope away from the stage a bit, so it can be a little hard to see from the back.

This was a great change last year. The plaza was packed in 2006 for CYHSY. Last year when the main stage shut down there was plenty of room to check out Tokyo Police Club in the meadow.
