The Flaming Lips are going to be the highlight this year. For sure. The Soft Bulletin is one of my favorite albums ever and to hear it live will be fucking amazing.

And Death Cab was actually the band that made me steer away from Metal and more into the indie stuff. They still remain one of my favorites, and I still haven't ever got to see them live. I'm pretty sure I'll love it.

And I've been wanting to see The Antlers FOR FUCKING EVER. Thank god I'm going to be able to see them at Sasquatch. If they play most of Hospice I'll be happy, or sad because that album makes me cry. :'(

And last but not least, DEATH FROM FUCKING ABOVE 1979! You're a Woman, I'm a Machine is one of my most listened to albums according to my last.fm. I'm gonna be up front for them, and I don't care what the fuck happens, I'm gonna catch one of Sebastien's drumsticks. I WILL.

Also, Bassnectar will be pretty awesome.

Well said by everyone.

I had resigned myself to headliners I didn't much care for days before the lineup announcement and so it didn't really bug me. But now that I've had time to ruminate on it, DCFC is the only headliner I'll probably totally skip. I don't like FF but I've heard so much good stuff about them live, and there's nobody else to watch at that time, that I think I'll enjoy them. I haven't seen Modest Mouse, and I haven't really given them a good listen in a few years, but now I'm really excited to see a full set. I've seen Wilco and they're incredible live. The thing about it is that seeing those bands with thousands of other people at the Gorge is what will make them special.

And really, while I love the whole day, any given Sasquatch is only going to provide a few transcendent moments. Last year it was LCD, Vampire Weekend, The National (for me). This year there are a lot of moments that I expect to be close to tears - Lips, Guided by Voices, DFA, Archers of Loaf, Bassnectar - I honestly think it's going to be the best Squatch ever.

I think we can all agree that Bassnectar is going to be the most badass thing to ever happen to the Gorge.

I honestly have no idea how I missed this band. I had some fairly dark years in my early/mid twenties, and I guess I wasn't really paying attention to much of anything during that period.

HOLY SHIT, I am completely addicted to this band right now. I've probably listened to You're a Woman, I'm a Machine 30 times in the last week.

The only time I ventured into the pit last year was for LCD. This year I will be changing that. See you there.

My first Sasquatch I stayed on the hill the whole first day. I was also with my girlfriend who really didn't want to leave the good spot we had. Then I went down in front for...Animal Collective, I think? And since then I've just used my girlfriend as a placeholder. She'll come down with me sometimes, but she enjoys lounging. We've established a nice routine.

Haha way to put her to work drew! This will be my first time with my lady so we'll see what she wants to do. She'll more than likely go where ever I do though, she gets nervous in crowds that big.

I am extremely excited for this though, I'm already falling in love with half the bands I had never heard of on the undercard and I get to see Modest Mouse at least once more. Not to mention, 2 of my best buddies are flying to Boise all the way from fucking Maryland to join me and my crew on the adventure. Epic is one of the douchie-est and most overused terms in popular society today, but this is going to be fuckign epic!

You guys have already said what I wanted to say. I saw the lineup a few hours before most of you and my first reaction was huge disappointment. I was sure every one was going to be pissed about this lineup. After a few days of hearing all the great things you guys have to say about the lineup I have gotten super excited. This year I am definitely going to spend more time partying it up.

And I'll be the nearly equally as tall guy punching the slightly taller guy named Drew.

This year will be my first time attending (if I can buy a ticket in time). I attended Coachella last year and it changed my life. I was counting down the days until this years Coachella. Unfortunately the lineup and organization of the festival didn't do anything for me. Fortunately Sasquatch looks like it will fix all my sorrows from Coachella.

I was stoked on the lineup since the start, and only getting more excited. I can't wait to see the Gorge from Washington (only seen the Oregon side), camp for 4 days, and finally see Modest Mouse, Foo Dr. Garbanzohters, Deerhunter, Flying Lotus, and many others I haven't heard of yet.

Sasquatch 2011 FTW! Now just need to buy that ticket...

This year's lineup is undeniably superior to last year's. Yes, it's underwhelming in obvious areas but it's solid. I just hope we don't have to wait too long to learn the remainder of Friday and the comics. Also, I hope Bassnectar will be playing a late night set, it would criminal if it weren't dark for that set.
