All 'dem glowsticks are reminding me of seeing Modest Mouse last summer and Isaac Brock breaking one open and putting it in his mouth to make his teeth glow then immediately regretting it.

Yeah when you crack a glowstick there ends up being a bunch of shards of glass or plastic floating around inside. You don't want that shit in your mouth or on your arms or on your face or in your hair (trust me).
You DO, however, want to fling that shit all over the inside of your dome tent (trust me).

Spent a good chunk of my evening checking out Bassnectar videos. This guy is fucking SICK! This will probably change almost daily, but as of right now I'm anticipating this set more than any other. I'll be packing a shitload of glowsticks for this, my first glow stick war!
I'm curious if anyone on this board saw the Guns N Roses tour back in 2002 when Mix Master Mike opened for them? I only ask because this was where I fell in love with DJs and realized the talent they have. I was a Beastie Boys fan, but my true appreciation for what these guys are capable of didn't come to fruition until I saw this show. He was so fuckin awesome I didn't think GnR would be able to top his performance.
Anyone have an idea of what the light/laser/visual setup will be for Bassnectar?

Complacency isn't my thing. Always striving for/wanting more. It's a strength and a weakness. Besides, being curious what type of show he might have is a totally fair question.

Example A: You say you like the Beasties? Check out this video of Bassnectar from Shambhala 2010 with Whatcha Want remix thrown in.. Watch & Learn my friend.. Basssquatch will be epic!
Example B: Check out this clip from a recent show in Seattle. (2/5/11 @ The Paramount) Turn your sound down for this one. The recording sound like a turd.. It's a great example of how Bassnectar uses high quality lighting & great background visuals that greet the mind like an old friend.
Example C: To finish things off, I have included a 2010 highlight video that expands on the previous two clips. As you can see a Great Soundsytem, Good Visuals & Hip Beats make this a show anyone can get with.. Soon you will be a Basshead too!

Squatchcreep thanks for sharing the awesome collection of videos. Trust me I'm a basshead in the making, I was more curious about speculation what type of light/video show he might have at Sasquatch. I especially like the video from the show at Shambhala. I hope he plays his cover of Where is My Mind!

I spent an entire opening set spitting glowstick out of my mouth. It was the worst taste ever.

1:50 - 2:48 in this video was one of my favorite moments during the show on Saturday.
