Lol at all the hate. Don't let it affect you man it's all out of good fun. Bassnectar is going to be wild at the gorge and I'm stoked. I'll be bringing a crazy amount of glow sticks as well, but that is a given.

Also, you don't need to be on drugs to enjoy his music. I was 100% sober at his show at the Paramount Saturday night and it was soooooo much fun. Just let your ego drop down to the floor and rage!

I've only gone as far as weed (have wanted to for a while but haven't really had too many good opportunities), but seeing Bassnectar would easily promt some mushrooms, or mdma, though from what I hear I'm more keen on trying shrooms.

Dude yes so many high drugs. So much of it, I'm going to gobble them right up.

For the record, I brought a fucking backpack FULL of glowsticks and joints and was just giving them to people at the Deadmau5 show last year. I was like this:

O_O -- bah bah bah bah bah bah bahhhhhh

It was one of the best sets of the weekend. Would I spend even five minutes listening to a Deadmau5 record? Ha oh my sweet Jesus no I would not do that thing.

Hey ebay do yourself a favor and don't try shrooms for the first time at a massive festival. Yr gonna want to do a dry run under more controlled circumstances.

It's a $300 weekend, minimum. You don't know how your body is going to react (especially to shrooms, which more than any other substance have the potential to make you miserably fucking ill for many hours).

Agreed. Some people are fine with having a lot of people around whilst tripping balls, but for many it can be too much to handle. If you are planning on taking your maiden mushroom voyage at Sasquatch, start slow and see how you feel, don't just gobble down a handful and try to go with it.

I've heard this from a lot of my friends who have done shrooms too. They say the best setting for a first timer is usually somewhere quiet, maybe familiar, preferably ourdoors and with someone you trust who has done them before.

Any ideas that you'd recommend personally?

I was sober at his show the other night because right now I am having a ridiculous work load at school, no need to be a little e-tarded during midterms, etc. But Bassnectar + late night set + gorge amphitheater + mdma = possibly one of the best nights ever. I'm already stoked out of my mind

Small group of people, maybe just one or two folks, preferably who have experience. You'll definitely want to be outdoors, and preferably outside city limits. Camping is best.

Even back when I still did shrooms, I would have never done them at a place like Sasquatch. Sasquatch is so fucking huge and overwhelming that there's the potential for freak-outs when you aren't on any drugs at all. A bad mushroom trip in that crowd of people would be the worst fucking thing I could imagine. Do some molly or some ecstasy or even some LSD, those are all totally manageable.

You will have the time of your life rolling at a Bassnectar show. I know I will at Sasquatch. Mushrooms can be hard to handle though. Personally I would save that stuff for a warm summer night with a few friends or something.
