Yes. They all have light shows. Every single one of them. Just for you and Sasquatch.

That TooL show was hands down, the best TooL show I've ever seen. I've seen them a lot.

Ya know peatrick, why the need to be a smartass? I've never seen alot of the bands playing and I enjoy seeing a concert that incorporates a great light show, is it bad that im curious? Jeez. If you know whether the headliners have such then say so.
Yes fox that show was so good. opiate and sober live were a real treat, they hadn't played either of those live in years. That was also the only show they played those songs during that tour. I know alot of people who count that as their best tool show and best gorge show.

Festival settings are impossible to know if bands will have their own stage set ups. For pretty much everyone except for a couple headliners and likely Bassnectar, they will just use whatever the house provides.

Yes, The Flaming Lips will most likely have the most elaborate stage setup of the weekend.

A little advice, don't take anything too personally. Tone is hard to convey on short board messages, but I think most of the time the intentions are good around here.

The only time I saw Tool, was at the Key Arena, and I had the worst seats ever. Right side of the stage, all the way up at the top. Like seriously, there was just one more row behind me.
But it was still amazing. One of the best concerts I've been to.

One of these days, I will do a write up about my TooL experiences. I've seen them 10 different times in 6 different cities, 3 states, 1 province... I have journeyed for those dudes.

Just out of curiousity, what was so different about their show in '06 aside from it being at the Gorge? I saw them in '09 for the first time headlining an outdoor festival in SoCal and again last year at the Key Arena. Both were badass... But apart from one being inside, the experience wasn't really different.
And Geno, if you are talking about last year, you must have been seated pretty damn close to where I was!

The stage setup in '06 wasn't too different from what you saw in '09. The stage was a huge white canvas so we stood on the path seperating the hill from the floor so we could see all the visuals shining down on the stage. It was the first time I had seen this setup and a real change from the visual presentation of their shows from years past. So that, combined with seeing them at the gorge is why it was the best one for me.

Ah... I'm jealous. Lol. The gorge held some of my most memorable concerts (RHCP/FF), so I completely understand.
Kudos on being Mod, btw.

haha my friend (mind you she is a mormon and doesn't like to watch rated "R" movies) loves, absolutely loves this show.
It makes me laugh that she won't listen to Starfucker, because of their name, or watch the rated "r" movies, but she'll watch this show for hours and listen to bands that swear more times in an album than little miss sunshine.
I just don't understand, I also do not understand the trailer park boys and her obsession with them (more like bubbles, and yes I know the characters name because she is that obsessed).

I was front row against the gate getting all of my innards flattened and vertebrates wedged apart when I saw them in 2002. It ruled.
I saw 'em just for fun on my birthday last year. Lasers. (also Third Eye was nostalgic to hear)
