I wonder if they'll play the 'Race for the Prize' and 'Waitin' for a Superman' reprises after 'Sleeping on the Roof'? I can understand that wouldn't make sense in a live setting, but to me that's an important part of the record.

It's unfortunate I'll probably have to endure Flogging Molly in order to get a good spot for the Lips, but there's no way in hell I'll be anywhere other than the pit for that set. It's going to be amazing.
Flogging Molly is great how is that unfortunate?

I disagree, but regardless of our opinions about Flogging Molly, you can't deny that "the pit" will be full of 15-year-olds forcing an awkward and embarrassing push pit.

Oh god you're right. That will be unfortunate.

I kind of want to watch the Lips from the hill this time. I was front and center for the U.F.O. show - hands down the best Lips show I've seen - but for 'Soft Bulletin' I want to be able to take in the whole stage at a glance so I don't miss a single thing.

I always think this, but then I'm disappointed because the hill is so damn far away. My eyez ain't so good.

They better not skimp out on the confetti cause they're sub-headlining. This will be my first Lips show and I want the full experience.

The Flaming Lips are not known for 'skimping' on anything, ever.

I envy anyone who is seeing the Flaming Lips for the first time. You will experience absolute pure joy, and that is not hyperbole. I think there is a chemical that the human brain produces only when you are watching the Flaming Lips perform. It's the most fun you can have with clothes on.

I can vouch for this. I only saw them at Sasquatch '06 and I had no idea what to expect. MIND. BLOWN.

I still think they're going to do something big that isn't on the poster. Not like Radiohead or anything, but something big.

Like an additional band? Or something special festival-wise that isn't related to the music?

I still think TVotR is playing.

strangely, i'd be perfectly fine even if they don't. I'm going to see over 20 different bands i've never seen play before. i'm excited.
