Hopefully Flaming Lips play the same day as Modest Mouse, maybe the Lips will do a late set or two sets seeing as they will play SB in full and maybe do some embryonic and new material as well

I have to admit, there are a lot of great bands playing, but something about this lineup leaves me underwhelmed.

and there are 20 or so bands that i'm looking forward to seeing... granted, i've seen about 8 of them - but still. i can be okay with this. is it shocking who the headliners are? yes. but, it is what it is. i'm not gonna hang my head when I'm gonna get to see Surfer Blood, The Radio Dept, The Drums, Deerhunter, and Wolf Parade among tons of other great bands!

I'm happy. This may not be a reputation-building lineup, but I don't give a shit. It's going to be great. I'm shitting over at least three bands, and excited about at least 25, and haven't heard of a bunch, and that sounds perfect.
