My top two bands (Destroyer and The National) are playing more or less opposite to each other. Great.

those times seem to work in my favor. I can already tell I'm going to be stuck on the main stage and only leave a couple times a day. sounds so much different than running from stage to stage which as of now sounds like a refreshing change of pace from coachella.
I would be curious on end times though.

put this into a spreadsheet and took a snap shot to get a better sense of conflicts.

I love how Destroyer is playing the wookie stage right before the New Pornographers play the main stage, so he can just mosey on over there when his set is over.
Thanks for the spreadsheet rjl.

Wait something doesn't make sense here. That makes Destroyer's set extremely short (30 minutes at best) and/or a huge gap on the wookie stage. Even if he gets done at 5:15 and hauls over to the main stage, which may or may not be enough time, that leaves 45 minutes between Destroyer and Crudo. Something don't add up

Looks right - Looks like the Wookie set times are spaced at 1 hour and fifteen.
Dan generally sings a couple of New Porno's songs live, and when he isn't singing, he isn't on the stage. If he sings at all with the New Porno's, it will probably be at the end of their set.

The spreadsheet is great! As for the end times, usually they give a half hour for set up so if subtract a half hour from the beginning of the next band it should give you a pretty good idea of how long the set will be....... This is going to a year of tough decisions as to who to see!!!

In my opinion, there are 7 can't miss acts this year. The Cure, Mars Volta, Flaming Lips, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Flight of the Concords, Ghoastland, and Battles. Too bad I will have to miss Battles and Ghoastland, because the final four bands on the main stage Monday equals festival heaven.

Wow, I hope this is the real thing (I've seen the scan of the magazine, and I think it is), cause it couldn't be any better for me. Aside from Battles vs. Flight of the Conchords, no major conflicts at all.

Tom, let me help: 1st rule: music over comedy. 2nd Rule: full sets are overrated.
Saturday: The Breeders Vs. Modest Mouse - Breeders MIA Vs. Asscat - MIA The Whigs Vs. Throw me the Statue - Parts of both sets
Sunday: Death Cab Vs. Stephen Malmuks - Malkmus (come on now) Michael Franti Vs. The Kooks Vs. Brian Posehn - I saw this choice, and am going with Brian Posehn, with maybe a little Kooks. I hate Franti's music, so not my bag.
The Presidents Vs. The Blakes - Both Tegan & Sarah Vs. The Cops - Neither 65daysofstatic Vs. What Made Milwaukee Famous - 65days
Monday Ghoastland Vs. FLAMING FUCKING LIPS - so not even a choice, though you could probably get in the entire Ghostland set before the Lips are even set up. This is the only show where it is crucial to get as close to the stage as possible, so that is a consideration.
TMV Vs. Michael Ian Black - ugh. Flight of the Concords Vs. Michael Showalter - Concords RyG vs. Eugene Mirman vs Cave Singers - tough call. Love me some Eugene, love that Cave Singers record...

Im bummed about missing Ghostland, but atleast I will be able to see The Hives, Battles, Rodrigo y Gabriela and the Mars Volta on Monday. I was afraid of some horrible conflict between those 4. Actually, most of my conflicts are with the smaller bands. 65daysofstatic vs What Made Milwaukee famous is one of my most dreaded.
