Do the Teddybears spin at your bar?
There are two deejays within the top twenty artists I have seen live. Hardly can be thought of comprising the entirety of list, but whatever makes you feel better about yourself. I hate to repeat myself but to each their own.

So just for clarification here...
You're bragging because you've seen hundreds of concerts, yes? Even though a high percentage of those concerts are repeats, often on the same day.
I'm not sure about everybody else here, but I'd rather see as many bands as possible. Concert-going isn't a quantity game, it's a quality game. I honestly don't understand how anybody could sit through 20 Arcade Fire shows in the past 6 months unless they're employed by the band or contractually obligated to be there, and I like the Arcade Fire. I've seen them two [2] times.

I have never heard of 90% of the artists on your list. As I was scrolling through I was actually shocked when I saw a name that I recognized, even moreso when I saw one that I would actually brag about seeing.

I do not go to shows with the pretense that I will show lists to people who will later judge whether the shows are cool or otherwise. I don't give a shit. I go to shows I want to go to; you go to shows you want to go to. To each their own. It is quite easy to talk shit about someone's gigography when you keep your own private. But then again, I don't give a shit. If you do not recognise 90% of the artists in my gigography, you must never go to music festivals; a good percentage of them are booked because they can play well live. Sorry there is no one from Edmonton.

WHY GO TO THE EXACT SAME SHOW 4 NIGHTS IN A ROW!?!
It just makes no fucking sense! But then again you did say that you don't listen to recorded music...so I guess it makes a little sense.
My 'gigography' is on my facebook. Sorry, I only have 1 person from Vegas on there. I'm actually shocked that his band isn't on your list.

I cannot see your FB.
I have never seen The Killers because they never play here in Las Vegas, primarily because Brian Flowers is a cunt (and they no showed the one time I was supposed to see them in 2007 [Incubus come through and played a surprise last-minute set, so it worked out]).
I have been to see/hear the same artist for far longer than four consecutive nights, but to answer your question: because I like the live music that is being played. Ask a deadhead why they went to so many Grateful Dead shows.

I don't really like this place when everyone gangs up on someone. It gets pretty ugly pretty fast.
Not defending E or anything, but come on guys, this is getting ridiculous.

I wasn't talking about The Killers.
I can post my list if you really want to see it. I don't keep it so I can go on festival boards and lord it over people though. I keep it because I have a terrible memory. The answer to the deadhead question is "because they were very very high and were trying to escape from reality".
The only reason anybody busts your chops around here is because you feel the need to proclaim that you've been to x amount of shows in x number of days, and you expect us to be in awe and bow down to your concert-going prowess. If you weren't such an insufferable fuck about it, nobody would give you shit.
Oh, and...

No, but you go to shows and update your list with the pretense that you'll go online and brag that you've been to more shows than anyone, then expect everybody to praise you as some sort of god.
Get real.

I did not once mention any shows in this thread at any time until AFTER this post ....

Maybe you should direct your tirade in another direction. Maybe you should hate on all your boardmates since it is not me that brings up the number of shows but I simply respond.
I keep a gigography because I would not even remember who I have seen if it was not for it. I discovered this after I was asked who I saw at my first Coachella shortly succeeding the festival.
Feel free to share yours with me; I often find a reason to see someone that would not have found its way on my radar when going through someone's gigography.

I'm pretty sure Stamper was just being funny there. Also, you have a running total in your signature. I'll post it later.
