So if indeed it's possible that Arcade Fire bailed last minute and things needed to be drastically switched around, I wonder what the chances are that DFA was a last minute addition to the lineup, maybe a little desperate begging on AZ's end. Afterall, their name wasn't on the original lineup list and Jesse didn't mention anything about DFA (only MSTRKRFT) playing the fest a few days earlier in that interview he gave.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

AF bailing last minute makes sense to me based on the lineup we did get - Wilco / MM being promoted to a headlining slot. It makes me wonder if there might be some budget left over for a decent addition to Friday. The rate of ticket sales may deter spending to get another sub-headliner style act though.

I'm certain they can budget another higher(ish) tiered act. I'm also certain that at this point they won't.

that's they other thing I didn't understand, was that Wilco has headlined A lot of festivals and is big PNW, I would have thought they would have been listed before DCFC and MM but are performing on the Monday.

Certain? Or fairly confident? Or "of the belief that"? Let's choose our words carefully and set a good example.

Hahaha I took that class last spring. No, I actually get my "stop using words of certainty unless you are certain" thing from baseball blogs, surprisingly.

ah didn't realize you were a 2L

I think you're proving the belief that the venn diagram connecting indie rock fans, baseball fans, and politics junkies overlaps an unhealthy amount

We should make a series of diagrams. Butt rock + NFL + Miller Lite, etc.

Are you a law student or lawyer?
