They have their moments. First five are great, six is mostly great, seven and eight and pretty terrible except for a few scenes, nine is pretty good, ten is the worst of them all, eleven is so-so, twelve through fourteen are by the new guy. The new guy is a heavy handed plot stomping mormon, but he does the job. More happens in those last three than in the previous six combined.

Finally reading the Dark Tower after saying I was going to like a million months ago. It took me that long to get through the first fifty pages of the Gunslinger, and now I've read the next four novels in the past five days. MUST FIND OUT WHAT'S IN/AT/IS THE TOWER.

Haha yeah, that's how it goes. I failed to make it through the first 50 pages of The Gunslinger three times before I really dove into that shit. Once you make it to the Slow Mutants, though... GOODNIGHT.

It only gets crazier. Prepare to have your mind blown. The ending is legitimately perfect.
