I'm embarrassed 'cause it's SO young adult. But after reading Hunger Games I looked around for similar shit and found this series called "Uglies"? It's a dystopian future where everybody gets surgery to be pretty but also there's a dark secret! It's pretty brain-candy-y. I'm also listening to this really fun series called "The Dresden Files" which are like noir detective novels only the main character is a wizard. And it's narrated by Spike from Buffy which is so much fun. They're really enjoyable.
Cue Know calling me a virgin.
I believe the proper response to Drew's question would be, "this thread."

What was that book all about, anyway? We Dr. Garbanzoured it was written by some creepy cult with religious undertones so all of our copies ended up beer-soaked and trampled on by the end of the weekend.
Also also, weenie reads on her iphone, which is fucking insane.
Why's that insane? I love to read on my iPhone and iPad. I like how whatever page I leave off on one device, it just opens up right there on the other.
And weenie there's absolutely nothing wrong with reading brain-candy YA lit -- the first thing I did once I finished my English degree was read the whole Gossip Girl series. But I refused to read the Twilight series because there were too many grammatical errors on the first page I flipped open to in the store.

iPad isn't so insane, but the iPhone screen is just so small. Although I guess I read all kinds of stuff on there so maybe it isn't that crazy, but weenie read the whole Game of Thrones series on there.

Haha, I just downloaded the Game of Thrones to read today. I might regret that one. American Gods turned into like 2 million pages on my phone so I can only imagine how long that book's gonna end up being.
