I appreciate that aspect of canning beer. I'm simply coming from a taste standpoint. I'm convinced that canning high quality beers negatively affects the taste of it. Does it in reality? I dunno. I just find it weird.

I get it. I have heard many people have that stance. Yesterday I had some Sierra Nevada Pale in cans and my brother and I were discussing how we thought that it tasted better in the can (than in bottle not on tap).

To be fair, the only craft beers I've had out of a can was this Wingman IPA and that Old Chub shit. God damn that was one of the grossest beers I've ever had.

Yeah, worst beer from Oskar Blues by far. Any of their other stuff may leave a better taste in your mouth regarding canned beers (def leave a better taste in your mouth for...beer taste :) )

Cans prevent light taint.

I found this little article a while back. Was surprised by the findings relative to the Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Peeps prefered the can.

Didn't realize Burnside Brewing bottled their beer. Picked up an Oatmeal Pale Ale by them. About to crack that. Weekend starting early.

So FD and some other lovely people were kind enough to leave me some beer after the BBQ. Question: is the lagunitas rich copper ale supposed to have sediment?

Hmmmm FD how old is this beer? I'm going to drink it regardless and if it gets me high or dead, then the beer gods willed it so.

I'll be straight, the KRONIK is my least favorite Lagunitas beer.

That was a no. Some beers have floaters (yeast) due to the fact that they're bottle conditioning (fermentation in the bottle). Lagunitas Censored aka The Kronik aka Rich Copper Ale is not bottle conditioned. You drank or are drinking old beer.
