Got myself a 4 pack of Sierra Nevada Narwhal Imperial Stout for the Sounders game. Think I will watch DC VS NY on mute while spinning some records.

Just enjoyed a 22 of Pelican Brewery's Bad Santa. It is a black ipa/cascadian dark ale using fuggle hops. Enjoyed it thoroughly

I've been drinking wine and White Russians for the past week. I'll be back on the beer train soon.

It's no coincidence that it's my favorite drink.

I actually first saw Sleigh'R at a local music venue. They usually have a Ninkasi seasonal on draft. When I saw it in the store I thought it was kind of funny they used the Slayer logo. It has a fairly impressive ABV as well. There must be some metal fans at that brewery. They also have Maiden The Shade, which uses the Iron Maiden logo.

Last year our friend that is the WA Ninkasi rep was in our Sasquatch camping group. He brough a bunch of cases of 22oz bottles and a few 12 packs of their lager series. It was pretty rad to have all of that free GOOD beer there. He said they are trying to get into the music scene to the point they have a mini label in Eugene.

I hope he comes next year too!
