Yup! I picked up a four pack of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum Imperial IPA. 100 IBUs and 10.8% ABV...yikes! Pretty excited to sit my ass down and watch some CCL while sipping on that stuff. It has a 91 rating on Beer Advocate so I'm feeling good about this purchase.

I am going to copy you if they are carrying Hoptimum at the Haggen by mi casa. Sounds tasty.

Also, I saw Sierra Nevada released a 12 pack with their imperial pilsner, red and a couple others (4 bottles of each). I wanted to buy it yesterday but only brought $20 cash...it was $21 GRRR

Ended up going to Trader Joes...which is a good thing because Kulshan Brewing is right next door. Had a couple of pints (CDA and Pale) then got a growler for the game (IPA!). Happy (hoppy) IPA day to all!

Was lame and had to miss the party this weekend when I was so close. On the bright side I got to check out Gigantic Brewing in Portland. They had 3 of their own beers on tap and some guest beers. I liked all 3 of their beers though (they had an english bitter, IPA and double IPA). Good stuff

So, either that beer makes pandas shoot lasers out of their eyes, or else it makes you hallucinate pandas shooting lasers out of their eyes. Either way, I approve.

DUDE! I want to get that beer so bad. That label is rad and I love the idea. Hope it tastes good. I for some reason I can't get up there and you are down with me sending you dough to pick one up for me would you? DM me if so. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it's in store here or not. My friend picked some up direct from the brewery earlier today though, and he said it was pretty good. Have you had their Amnesiac IPA before? He said it had a bit less body then Amnesiac, and it finishes like moonshine. hahaha

I'm not opposed to making something like this happen, but wait til I can find it in store before we discuss the options. You're just in Bellingham right?

I'm not opposed to a quick trip down either. Believe you me, my eyes are peeled for this one!

Guess I'll be heading to my beer store after work. They just got a shipment of these babies in today. I've had a bottle of each of their anniversary beers since I turned 21, and look forward to them every year.

Ended up with these tonight and I'm pretty excited to try all of them! The only one I've had before is the Lagunitas.

Brewery Creek near my best friends place is carrying it, so I'll pick up some bottles this weekend. :)

Perhaps a beer exchange in Bellingham soonish? I'll be at Live at Squamish next weekend, and the weekend after is Labor Day which could be a huge pain in the ass at the border, but let's Dr. Garbanzoure something out!

**EDIT** Apparently the Brewery is out of this stuff already. Took them 3 days! I hope the store still has some by the time I get out there!
