You can't. Even. Recognize. Tom. Fucking. Cruise.

One of the most recognizable faces on the fucking planet.

Do you get a fucking lobotomy after every damn movie you see to help you forget the names, faces, personalities and careers of every actor in them to avoid actor recognition spoilers?

What the fuck is wrong with you.

Recognize that your approach to movie viewing is entirely unique. Because it makes no fucking sense. Not one single other person in the world does what you do, avoiding fucking trailers and 'cast spoilers' (SAY IT AGAIN: CAST SPOILERS. THAT IS NOT A REAL THING). Even if your method was intellectually sound -- which it is not by a damn sight -- you still wouldn't be able defend it as the only appropriate method because a century and a half of film criticism flatly contradicts it.

You are an idiot. You are a joke. You are a table.

See even Gunther knows who that fucker is and he hasn't seen a film since Howard the Duck.

I'm not familiar with Howard the Duck. I have seen Superbad, and True Grit, and the Bachelor Party remake, and a couple Austin Powers movies, and I found them to be entertaining. I look at pictures just because my acquaintances like looking at them, but I don't actively pursue looking at pictures. I prefer creating drama IRL, so it's closer to living a picture, rather than looking at it.

I am not going to argue what is the best method to watch a film, if knowing the entire plot (by way of a trailer) and entire cast (by way of constant conversing/hype) et cetera is right, or if the way that I do is right. Ask anyone who has walked into an auditorium not knowing what the fuck they are going to watch if they preferred that way or the way they are accustomed to by the corporations that in a way control everything they do.

And right, this really looks like Tom Cruise:

Please insult me some more for not recognising him. Keep it in context; I never stated, ever, that I did not know who Tom Cruise was.

Sorry you can't see through a latex bald-cap and a fake beard. Anyone with a brain would know that's Tom Cruise. I went into Tropic Thunder not knowing he was in it myself -- they carefully avoided mention of his name in the advertising -- but fortunately I'm not a fucking idiot.

That is great. Is there truly a need for the insults?

It is true that I cannot see through a latex bald-cap, fake beard, and fat suit/fake hands. I also did not expect Tom Cruise to be working in such supporting role; he does have M.I. 4-8 to star in after all.

Yes sir, Edwin Nutsack. I'm afraid you have roundly necessitated the insults. You've made your bed and now you're going to have to sleep in it.

You must be a sad individual that you cannot permit others to casually converse about something without barreling in with one thousand and one insults without insomuch as an iota of provocation. I am going to go attend a few (according-to-the-Great-Horn) subpar shows now.

The Guard

What a funny funny funny funny movie! I'm not sure if having lived in Ireland for a year made me enjoy it more than it deserved, but I fuckin' loved the shit out of it. I've always tried to explain the insane ignorant racism that runs throughout the country to people back home, but words fail to capture the picture. ANYTHING that is different over there is suspect, deficient, and "has a weird way of doing things". When I say anything, I mean anything. Racism is no joke (no doi!), but over there it's to another level, where people just ignorantly dislike everything.

Here is kinda how it all works

They hate the family who lives down the street because they live all the way down the street (of course), but they hate the family across the street even more because if push came to shove they could at least offer a small degree of trust to someone on the same street (even if they do live all the way at the end of it). Though none of this compares to the distrust they hold for anyone on the opposite end of town (north vs. south, east vs. west), those fuckers are clearly the worst. Living on the other side of town like they are better than the rest of us! But yet as bad as people living on the other side of town may be, they don't hold a candle to the rat bastards who live in the NEXT TOWN over. "Fuck those langers, like!". As terrible and worthy of hell fire as the inhabitants of the next town are, differences can be put aside when collective hate needs to be focused on the evil vile scum that occupy the NEXT COUNTY. They probably marry their cousins and murder their Granns for fun in the NEXT COUNTY. Plus they talk weird (aka just the same as everybody else really). From there you also have a country wide North vs. South and your typical City Dwellers vs. Country poopkins. Foreigners are not even close to being hated as much as one's neighbours and family, but they are very strange and don't eat the same food as the rest of us, so it's best to simply speculate wildly on them given any scenario that should come about.

Now the most hated people in Ireland are the people who cheer for any other sporting team that is not your own. Fuck you!

But as bad as any of the above can possibly be, none, not a single one, could ever compare to the dirt, the puke, the poison, the sexually promiscuous, the over read, the fancy dancy, the head-up-their-arse, the backwards, the rude, the godless fuckers who live in DUBLIN!
