SPOILER ALERBLABLABLA

The punchline of Scream 3 was that the killer -- a movie director -- turned out to be Sidney's brother and he had been 'directing' the killings since the very first movie. It was unbelievably stupid and unbelievably unbelievable.

Wow. I am speechless. I think I made it up to the point where Jenny MacCarthey dies (she in that one right?), but WOW!

Halloween III is one of the worst horror movies I have ever seen. And it is only made worse by the expectations one has that it is going to be a Halloween movie; while true that the aforementioned hurt the movie and filmmaker, it in no way is the primary cause of the hatred people have for the movie. I have heard the argument that it would have worked if it was simply titled something else. No. It fucking sucks. It sucks so much I have never seen all of the Halloween movies because of it; nothing like that exists in the Nightmare on Elm Street series (although that homoerotic one that really did not fit into the series or was sequeled was pretty poor).

That looks like they just remade the big lebowski except this time the sex is porno sex. There's even porn in the real movie. Not much of a parody. That being said, I'm going to watch it.

Yeah that part in Nightmare on Elm Street 6 where Freddy made that kid smoke scary weed and then killed him in a video game or something was, like, high art, man. It totally maintained the gritty tension and visceral terror of Wes Craven's original filmOH SHIT HIGH ART I JUST GOT IT

Hold on one fucking second, though -- doesn't that mean you are approaching the remainder of the Halloween films with preconceived notions? Ideally, Edwin, shouldn't you only watch the final installment in any film franchise? I mean, like, theoretically wouldn't watching Back to the Future and Back to the Future II essentially be the same as exposing yourself to a four hour trailer for Back to the Future III?

That doesn't sound like you at all, man. I don't even know you anymore.
