Has anyone else seen the Black Swan? Not to help bash it, just interested in what some like minded people might have thought.
Again I give it A+ for the dancing, music, scary stuff and Vincent Cassel's handsome face (but of course he's a creepy sex type criminal, but gets away with it because of European or something?)

Saw Tron Legacy last night in IMAX 3D and it was pretty cool. Jeff Bridges has some dude-like lines. I would recommend smoking a hefty joint before to maximize its 3D potential.

Black Swan if fucking nutty. I can't tell if I love or hate it right now. I will say that it's pretty hollow emotionally, and that I never really cared about any of the characters, but it looks absolutely beautiful (Super 16!!!!!), especially the ballet scenes. I may be able to appreciate it later as the black-comedy/exploitation film it probably really is, but for now I dunno.
If anyone gets a chance to see Enter the Void on the big screen FUCKING DO IT. Absolutely my favourite film of the year. The most visually engrossing thing I've seen since... probably Beyond the Infinite in 2001. It's probably the closest any film will ever get to representing the feeling of being a ghost. Fair warning: There is a lot of sexual innuendo (glowing penises?) but it's by far the tamest Gaspar Noe film I've seen in regards to extreme violence, sex, etc.

Damn CWS where did you go? You seem to be the only one out there who is familiar with Noe's stuff, I understand if my simple mentioning of the movie had you running away - that thing destroyed me through and through.

"I Stand Alone", much like Noe's other stuff, isn't about liking or not liking. It's an experience, this one is a very intense experience. I watched it durring a time where I felt I was floundering in my life and had allowed things to pass me by that I could never get back and would be the worse for it. This movie did not help those feelings. Fucking yikes!

I should say this was all years and years ago, I'm fine now you guys. You know what it like when you're young, things seem so much more permanent and bigger than they really are. I could watch it now and only be mildly affected by the PTSD.

I've been looking out for it ever since I saw Irreversible a couple of years ago. I guess I could always buy it off amazon, but I enjoy the DVD hunting.
