I just found out that the sci-fi movie Looper that's coming out in a month and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt is written and directed by Rian Johnson, the dude that made Brick (which I know some of you love, as I do) as well as the underrated The Brothers Bloom. It's nice to have a sci-fi movie to look forward to in September - rare occurrence.
You guys impress me with your abilities to keep up on movies and television as well as music when I haven't even discovered funk yet.
I don't really feel like I can keep up with shit. I just have a smattering of knowledge and sometimes stumble across something I'm aware of. I wish I could keep up with something, anything.

Hey, want a copy of comprehensive funk playlist and write up which I had sent to Rusty a while back ago?
Or was this just an inside joke?
I need this, actually, if you don't mind. You may have even sent it to me at some point, but this month I've been really intently going back to the 70's with my playlists and there's this big funk-sized hole in my library.
Let's see how many 2-word phrases that movie quotes have spliced with fuckin' in them we can name. This sounds specific, but I be there's a lot of them.

This looks fucking hilarious. Plus: Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson and Tom Fucking Waits. You know what, and I don't hate Colin Farrell either.

Back to Rian Johnson - he directed "The Fly," the episode of Breaking Bad where Walt and Jesse try to catch the fly in the lab. That was a brilliant episode. I'm now this guy's biggest fan.
