Nobody cares who you really are. We just want to know who you are pretending to be. So you go by 'choadlicka27'. Tell us why. Clever anagram of your real name? Reference to a shameful moment from your childhood? Lazy combination of numbers and letters? Embarrasing nod to one of the lesser Modest Mouse albums? Explain.
This of course is me:
And of course I've posted that before, but considering it is just about the funniest thing in the goddamn world I have no bones about posting it again. And who knows, maybe one of you hasn't seen it. I like thinking that perhaps someone out there is going to lose a little sleep tonight.
Your turn.

My real name is Patrick (go Dr. Garbanzoure, right?) and my friend's older brother called me Peatrick once when we were little kids. Name stuck.

Going through band in middle school and high school we had the same percussion director. He was a super strange old man that gave everybody very strange nicknames (such as Chicken, 1-2-3, Teddy the Giant Squirrel, Ash the Volcano, Mr. Peabody (one of my favorites, Bullwinkle reference for you kiddies out there), etc. etc.
My name went through a series of evolutions. In 7th grade, started out as Tippy the Turtle, then Speedy, then Speedlumpy, then just Lumpy, then in the later years if he was feeling specifically proud of me, it would be El Lumpo The Magnificent. So anyway, more people in high school ended up calling me Lumpy in high school than my real name, Brett. Unfortunately upon arriving to college, the name got mostly phased out (I don't know what would happen if I introduced myself as Lumpy at parties, and I didn't want to find out), but everybody from home still calls me Lumpy (including my parents)

(by the way, there was no rhyme or reason to most of these names, pretty random)

yeah, i think i needed a number in some other thing that required a user name somewhere else, so i made that palindrome out of it then, and just stuck with it. at the time, i thought i was the coolest for having a palindrome. However, i think a palindrome is supposed to be a real word to actually be a palindrome

I don't like the computer and never had a reason for a username until 3 years ago. "Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?" happened to be by my laptop and I always thought it sounded like a Friendly Destroyer. Kevin Barnes is clearly our generations Ray Stanz when it comes to the ol' doomsday selection responsibility.

I like to tell people that I've invented a new palindrome, and when they ask what it is I tell them:
"Oh shit, a cupcake you say?"
They sit and scratch their heads for a minute before realizing that it is not even close to being palindromic, but to me it is funny as hell.

"cygnus... vismund cygnus" is the first track from frances the mute by the mars volta. one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. most of this board hates the volta, along with most of the rest of the pacific northwest, so i like to represent.

I never caught on to the palindrome. I assumed you liked your Oypmul lumpy, Humpty style.
