Here's why I love the Residents.

Their second album -- or was it their fifth? it's debatable -- was Not Available, recorded in 1972 and released in 1978 (long story). Either way, it's at least 35 years old. And it took at least that long for someone to discover that the Residents had hidden a secret monologue which relates directly to the narrative of the album deep, deep down in the mix of one of the middle sections of that record.

Apparently to hear it all, you have to separate the two audio channels, pan the sound all the way over to the right channel, phase invert the right channel and then switch it over to mono. How the fuck anyone could have ever thought to do that is beyond me. Leave it to a Rezhead, I guess.
