New Yeasayer has been in constant rotation just because its so catchy. But, new Silver Mt. Zion, Efterklang, Owen Pallett, Jaga Jazzist in that order are the best of this year (already an amazing year) in my opinion.

Andimac, in my opinion funeral was the best album of the 2000's,

I am now listening to Spoon( awesome album), Owen Pallet And Hidden Cameras( I know its 2009, but still Good).

I didn't like older Yeasayer, but the song Tightrope was the best song on the Day For Night Album, and I seem to like the newer stuff much better.

HEY EVERYONE

If you haven't yet heard the new Yeasayer, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, Beach House, Surfer Blood, or whatever other albums are getting talked about now... PM me and I'll hook you up.

I like the new Yeasayer album, indeed very catchy, but still like All Hours Cymbals better. Odd Blood kind of reminds me of Duran Duran for some reason. "Tightrope" on Dark Was The Night really is a great song :)

I also like Charlotte Gainsbourg -IRM. There's just something about a girl singing in French (half the time)... and it's not SO mellow that it puts me to sleep (Beach House).

A Deee-lite reunion would be the tits. But I would be just as happy with Towa Tei playing.

And I know you were kidding, but Deee-lite was more than just groove is in the heart. Towa Tei and Dmitri and Ani were all great producers/djs. And yeah, I'm that old guy!

I'm aware they did more than just "Groove is in the Heart", it's just it seems so silly to get the band that did that song.

i like raekwon but i've never liked rap live the other bands i just really like. would be cool to see a few of them though. also hoping this isn't what sas headliners look like with all the lcd rumors ugh.

I know this is kind of silly because most of yall are from all around, but Pullman, yes Pullman, WA is having a folk festival March 26 and 27 with the line up consisting of Justin Townes Earle, Damien Jurado, Joe Pug, Rocky Votolato, Horse Feathers, Frontier Ruckus, Laura Gibson, with more to be added to range between 20-30 bands. They are currently trying to get Low Anthem and AA Bondy. Should be pretty sweet for our neck of the woods.
