I just realized that managing this team is going to be a full time job since there are games every day. Oh and since I know nothing about hockey--if I win you all have to pitch in and buy me a Sasquatch ticket. These are the rules. Good Luck!

I liked a league I was in that locked your roster weekly.

You can make roster moves for each day as far in advance as you would like. I did up to March last night because I was bored, though I'm sure I'll have to fiddle with them anyway as my lineup changes.

The only problem with this is each day your team will attempt to revert back to your choices when your roster is exactly what it is now. If you add and drop a couple players, it won't recognize the new players as a starter and put them back on the bench each day, unless you go back though a reset your lineup for each day through March again. Then rinse and repeat the next time you add a player.

Bottom line, it's nice to be able to set your lineup in advance when you are out of town, and won't be messing with your team, but if you plan on tinkering in the next couple weeks, you don't want to set your lineup too far out.

I'm off work for a couple weeks at least in Feb, so this will at least keep me from getting too bored!

Ya, I kinda realized this about halfway through doing it. Meh... easy enough to fix I guess.

Holy shit this thing is labour intensive. Considering I'm going to have limited internet access in the next couple of weeks I'm not too stoked on my prospects. Ah well, good thing I have the "Don't Do Anything" type of pool coming up tonight as well.

Is any one else having issues with the league? I have made some pickups and drops, and it shows that on the "league" page, but on my actual team it says I still have the old players. Any one have any idea why this is happening?

How long ago did you make the drop? If it was today they won't show up until tomorrow.

I accidentally dropped someone I didn't mean to today. He's still on my team today, but I'm gonna have to try and get him back off waivers after that. DERP

Daily rosters are locked when the first game of the day starts. It's like that in every fantasy sports league. There was a 9:30 am game today, so any add/drops made after that won't reflect until the next day, even though most teams have yet to play today.

Oh ok, I didn't actually know that.

Don't feel bad Fox, I did the same thing, dropped Grabner by accident. Oh well.
