What Ro is saying is, Alex, you are feeding the troll, and he is reveling in it. There is no point in a level-headed response to being wonked. Wonk will wonk you because he doesn't like how you post, and you have to deal with it. He's like the centaur at the center of the labyrinth. Everybody's got to deal with him eventually.

I believe it is traditionally a minotaur at the center of the labyrinth. Centaurs favor shady glens, archery ranges and porn studios.

I put "maze" instead of "labyrinth" originally, to further highlight my ineptitude.

You're a fuckin' educated poet, drew. I expect you to have a firmer grasp on your allusions.

If it was anybody else, I would have just laughed it off and taken it as a "hey man, chill on the real estate shit", but 'wonk' has been a dick to me from the beginning, and I get that you guys don't see it or whatever, but I'm sick of "having to deal with it eventually" because "eventually" has been 2.5 years.

I'm posting in the correct thread, in the correct forum. Fuck him if he doesn't like it.

It's the ol' switcheroo, Rusty. Back in olden times, when wonk was the only sheriff in town, precedents were established by virtue of the fact that I trolled the shit out of this place while maintaining sound logic and generally defensible opinions. I pissed a lot of people off and was frequently disruptive, and from what I could tell wonk had a hell of a time keeping the peace.

And now the tables have turned. It's kind of poetic.

Bragging that I can afford a house? No. Never have I talked price, square footage, anything. It's rude to talk about those things regardless of company.
