The Devils Rejects is an amazing movie. The acting, story, music, overall look and grimy appearance make it one of the best. Granted, House of 1000 Corpses and Halloween wear mediocre at best, this one is a classic.

Oh, this a great idea by the way!

I have to say that I thought Ringu was bullshit. The Ring wasn't a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but it had its moments. And for better or worse (worse, I say) it has strongly influenced a whole generation of horror films. PG-13 horror films, anyway.

When it came out, all my J-head friends (read: Anime dorks) were all like, "DUDE, Ringu is way better than the American version. So much scarier!!"

...it's not. It is flat and tedious and dull.

Ring was fantastic and genuinely creeped me out in the most fun way possible. Definitely much better than all of the other PG-13 copycats came out afterward (*cough* DARKNESS FALLS *cough*).
