Friend of Gibbons from the baseball league has joined up and was the seventh (and final) vote for the 9:15 ET draft. We still have four spots open though.

So we're up to ten - is it too late to just cut it off there, know, given that the draft is tomorrow?

I'm supposed to be off at 5:30 PST so I should be there for the draft unless I get a late call.

I opened the league to the public over the weekend, so during our live chat, keep in mind up to four people in the league are complete strangers. It must be a slower off-season on the board, because last year we had thirteen interested.

Wonk - request - can you randomize the divisions so it's not a bunch of boarders in one division and a bunch of strangers (and me) in the other? Now I'm getting really picky

No, I don't have that power. Remember, I'm merely the person who set up the league, not the commissioner. The settings were locked when I created the league, which is why we needed the majority vote to change the draft time.

12th pick, fuck.

hmm well I wasn't able to make the draft since I was in the air flying back to Minneapolis at the time but it could have been worse. I'm fine with the first half, it's really only the part where the computer drafted 4 backup rbs that I'm baffled by...

Autodraft prefers players with regular names and common facial features.

You missed how much smack Shax and Drew were talking about you.

Sadface.

I was referring more to how it didn't pick the best player available multiple times. Although now that you mention it, there is a serious lack of interesting facial structures on the Trombones this season.

Side note: This whole referee strike thing is seriously fucking embarrassing to watch. The head Ref tonight was a highschool teacher, and although they didn't actually make to many terrible calls, it just seems so odd that a professional sports league would allow this to happen.

I think CHUD might have had the best draft. I like my team a lot but I made some reaches on players I didn't want to miss out on (namely McFadden and Sproles). CHUD got good value with Steven Jackson, and I think Aaron Hernandez is a sleeper. Percy Harvin could have a huge year too. Wonk has strong receivers but iffy running backs, and Dez Bryant didn't get a lot of looks last night. And Shax is just a fucking homer.

I don't think Chud's team is that strong. I think Gibbons, Cbats, and Pucking Funts have solid teams...... And myself of course because I'm a homer of myself. McFadden is a solid pick if he can stay healthy. Brees was my cash cow last year. Sproles is a reach, but I reached with him in another pool I'm in with Womp (ps why isn't that douche playing?). And fuck you.
