Wow, that was far more info than I was expecting.

So 200 goats do an acre in a day, there are 600 goats, thats 3 acres per day. 680/3= 227 days. The goats mid as well live there year round. Really, before they are half done it will be winter and all the weeds will die anyway. There are some serious problems with this plan unless this particular area doesnt require nearly as much time.

2100 for the whole job cant be right, but $1.26 million seems way off to.

It has info about goats, what more could you want?

In other news, the US got 1 step closer to default today. I dont think it will happen, it just seems like they are trying to make it suspensful so people will start paying attention to doom and gloom again.

On one hand - this is really sad; but on the other - is there really anyone out there who didn't see this one coming?

Yes, and as mentioned on the book of face, 27 seems to be the magic age.

How many artists now have died at 27? Hendrix,Joplin, Morrison, Jones, Cobain.....it is kind of weird.

What's weird would be appending 'Winehouse' to that particular list.

It's like that old Sesame Street segment.

One of these things just doesn't belong here...

Musicians and age are the common denominator here, not the influence they had on the art itself. There is also Shannon Hoon and many many others less notable...

I wouldn't call Winehouse, Hoon (some would argue Cobain as well) part of the 27 club, but that doesn't mean they aren't notable when discussing the phenomenon.

***my bad, Hoon was 28***

Oh come on, Back in Black was easily better than anything Janis Joplin ever did. I would also say it was better than any Doors album, but thats just because I think Jim Morrison was a drunken hack, I understand most people probably wont feel that way.

Are you saying that Amy Winehouse is better than Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison? Are you saying that some Amy Winehouse song is better than 'Me and Bobby McGee' or 'People are Strange'? I mean clearly that's what you just said.

I wonder what this has to do with goats, anyway.

Sad loss, but not at all shocking or surprising. She may not have the legacy that some of those other musicians had/have but there's no arguing that she was talent, and from the one show I saw of hers she was a quite a good performer as well.

She did have talent. Talent is something you are given and it is up to you to use it. She squandered it all.
