I'm in a league. I only got into them in the last few years, but I love fantasy sports. I only do baseball and hockey as they are the only professional sports am at all interested in (soccer aside) and they're a lot of fun to follow. Our baseball draft is Thursday of this week (opening day) and we're doing it auction style for the second time. Should be fun.

I do fantasy basketball (heartbreaking playoff loss last night) and football but I know nothing about baseball. Sorry.

I used to do fantasy baseball, but I don't follow the sport much outside of my favorite team, so I would be the dude who has a terrible draft and eventually stops playing.

We should absolutely have a Sasquatch board league. Winner gets to pick my username which I will have to keep for six months.

I'm in. If I win it'll be another MM reference, but it might be a little less desirable.

Bukowski? Actually, that's a perfect fit, as far as the MM song goes.

Reviewing the thread, I hope the following posters will also join in:

HG
PG
Empty
JWW
Catsquatch
topspin?

I'd love to see other posters willing to join in -- those are just the ones who seemed either (a) particularly interested or (b) regulars here and thus more likely to participate.

You know, I totally would, but I don't pay anywhere near enough attention to any sport to be in a fantasy league.

I love competition but I just don't know enough about baseball anymore. When I used to watch baseball religiously, Ricky Henderson and Darryl Strawberry were still playing and Barry Bonds was not on the juice. When football season comes around though count me in.

You guys obviously misunderstand. I don't care if you're good. That means I'll win. Even if the league is just four people paying attention, I'd be happy. You can be fillers taking up space.

In that case, Ice Face, count me in.

I have minimal knowledge on anything that isn't Braves or KC Royals related, so consider me a space filler, but an enthused participant.
