Shutting down the Perry line in a best of seven will be easy, don't fret. Phoenix won't last a full best of seven either. I'd worry 'bout Chicago though.

The Blackhawks have an uncanny ability to fuck us up, but Friendly D is right when he says they've lost most of their grit. No more Buffy Luongo Slayer for them!
Either way, the plan is to spank the Flames in the Saddle Dome on Saturday and finally snuff their hopes of the 2011 playoffs. Ya see what I did thar?

Damn tie-breaker rules... I don't know them. Something about your record against the other team(s) in the tie and then maybe your goal differential. I don't care; my team gets home ice advantage in every round!

Basically the first tie breaker is wins, of which the flames will have the least out of the teams that could potentially finish with 95 points. The second tie breaker is goal differential.

Oh right, I always forget about wins v. OT losses. I think the current point system is flawed. It should be win=3, OT win=2, OT loss=1, and loss=0. I know it would fuck up stats and records and stuff, but they could be normalized and after a few years people wouldn't notice.

The reason the above system (which I agree with) will never be adopted is because the playoff race is more exciting on the current system. The standings remain much tighter.
