Yeah swap Chicago and Calgary, then I will be happy. I'm not sure whether Calgary would be a tough series or not, but I like to see as many Canadian teams in the playoffs as possible.

Another solid performance tonight. Way to go 'Nucks!
I agree, I'd love to see the Flames in the playoffs and taking them on first would be fun. I'm not liking the prospect of facing Chicago in the first round, but it would feel really good to send them packing right away.

Western Conference Champions! Next up, the President's Trophy!
Another solid effort tonight. 9 straight wins on the road. We're looking really good going into the playoffs, and my internal defeatist Canucks fan is just waiting for the wheels to fall off. lol

Pretty much. To be honest, I didn't see them winning this game at first. Through the first two periods they didn't seem to have the right amount of vigor. I was freaking out on their behalf, but it wasn't until I realized that, even while down 1-0, they were playing calm, cool, and collected. It was in the third period that they really turned it on, and all the while kept their composure. Two goals from Burrows, and an empty netter from Rome to seal the deal. This team is going far. I don't want to jinx it, and I haven't been a hockey fan for that long, but the Canucks this year really seem to have to have the stuff to be Stanley Cup Champions. Let's focus on the first round of the playoffs first, and then take it from there.
