This is some of their older material, their new album is super super poppy (including vocals) while keeping all of the technical/crazy guitar work. You might be more into that. Oh, and if you get the SKM vibe from that one, just check out the beginning of this one:

So just thought you all should know how entertaining you are. I've now Dr. Garbanzoured out that I access the site from my phone. So I would like to thank you all for contributing to my unproductivity at work!

Hey JWW let me tell you what I think of both of those videos. Let me warn you though that it is 2am so you probably know where I have been and what I have been doing. Anyway, I dig the talent and the way the band is very instinctual and tight knit. However, it starts to drag on and becomes one dimensional to me. I am not trying to talk down about one of your favorite bands, I mean how can I possibly want to do that to someone when everyone does that to me? I am just calling it as I see it. Its like listening to Steve Vai or something. Yeah he kicks major ass at the guitar but eventually it's just overwhelming. Sometimes simplicity, rhythm, lyrics, and melody need to factor into the song to make it enjoyable. I hope that makes sense?
I respect the talent involved here. It just needs to bloom into something more for me.

Thanks for your opinion, and I'm glad you said that. Now how about these two, the first singles off of their latest release. Prepare to get exactly what you asked for (except for the simplicity. I mean, its definitely simpler, but not what I would call 'simple')
Right on thanks Dr. Garbanzo! My high ass would be trying to Dr. Garbanzoure that shit out all night

I definitely like these songs more. I think the videos are great as well. I totally respect them for what they are but I still don't think I could listen to them every day. I think I would enjoy them if I saw them live though. Thanks for sharing the vids.

Haha I Dr. Garbanzoured I'd start humble. Nope I'm not, I'm in SoCal. Are you going?? I'm pretty jealous I really enjoyed their performance. The venue was a tiny room too, so it was loud and feisty. Just how I like it!

Seems that way. My "one hell of a week" won't be till Sasquatch. Being its my first year and all I'm pretty nervous. Hopefully everyone is as nice as the Boarders. I've been reading up and It seems like the regulars are tolerable humans.

Hahaha! Nah I'm no culo. I do have a slightly dark sense of humor though, 'tis only witnessed by people I'm comfortable around. Otherwise, that would make me somewhat of an asshole so anyways, sasquatch eh?
OMG JK. As long as you aren't a total ass we're probably the nicest group of people on the whole fucking internets.
I love this message board!!! The people are interesting and have an extensive knowledge of...well everything apparently. The comments, digs and barbs are fucking awesome and everything is just so damn friendly (for the most part). I just like the overall vibe of the whole thing. I'm not even attending the festival this year, yet here I am!
In fact, I would say that this is best to happen to the internet since You Tube, tranny midget porn, the ability to illegally download music and scalp tickets are abnormally high prices!!!
