Living in San Diego has given me a newfound appreciation for the burrito. It was already awesome, but it turns out it can be even awesomer than I realized.

When we come down to visit JDawg pre/post Coachella I have a feeling my entire diet will consist of fish tacos, burritos and key lime pie.

Yea...when I fly in to SD before we leave my only request (other than the obligatory grocery stop) is for him to take me to his favorite burrito shack.

Im thinking about making "healthier than you'd expect" peanut butter balls today. Chia seeds, ground flax, maybe hemp protein powder... any other suggestions?

The recipe is something like...
peanut butter
rolled oats
honey
whateverthefuck else

I'm thinking of melting some super dark chocolate and dipping them half in that for extra deliciousness. Maybe cut the peanut butter with half of a healthier nut butter... almond?

Megatron made some and didn't give one to me? WTF? I thought we were tight? And I was going to leave some for you guys. Bitches.

I made two batches. I found the first batch a bit sweet...

First batch was:
Natural PB
Unpasturized Honey
Agave Syrup (thanks megan...)
Vanilla (...thanks megan...)
Oats
Chia
Flax
Unsweetened coconut
Half dipped in melted dark chocolate

Second set I cut out the agave and instead halved the peanut butter with sweetened PB.

I put the ingredients into a program.. I Dr. Garbanzoure they are about 200 calories a piece, but packed full of energy, fibre, protein and goodness.
