Now I think you guys are speaking in code to confuse me. The SR would most likely be on the WS if you divide by TM and Old Macdonald had a farm.

Brainstorm what FC could be in relation to a sport, especially the F, and then ponder as to why North Americans would have trouble with that letter.

Ok.. It's either Soccer or Football. I was pretty sure Americans call the original football, soccer though. That's where I'm confused. I didn't think soccer was a big sport in the US.. so it must be football.. but I'm a little familiar with the NFL and I haven't heard of the Sounders.

Ah, that's where you're wrong. Soccer is getting bigger in the U.S. now, thanks in large part to the sounders... (and the world cup. I guess.) Football Club is what fc stands for, and that comes from the European tradition. AC stands for athletic club, which is basically the same thing.
