I am so jealous of all you. My mom hates pets, so she won't let our family get one. I used to have a mexican red kneed tarantula when I was much younger.

A tarantula?! Like in Home Alone? Maybe that's how your mom ended up hating pets--I'd be nervous having one of those in my house!

My mom hates taking care of pets. I did a project on tarantulas in in 5th grade and my dad thought I should get one after doing the project. We rarely took it from its cage so we weren't afraid of it getting loose.
