Does anyone else on this planet think The New Girl is ridiculously funny? I've never been a fan of Zoey before, but holy shit is she funny! Funny in that Jim Carey way, where she goes completely 100% committed to being either funny, good, okay, bad, or unbelievably lame. Always committed. You've gotta admire it.

EDIT: The guys are pretty good too.

We totally watch it every week. It really surprised me, I think it is really sweet and funny.

She is nuts. I love it. The last episode when she was talking dirty with a 40's actress voice and Justin Long was doing Jimmy Stewart was priceless. Almost killed me.

I can't embed videos here (lame!) but this is funny. Peaks and Recreation. A mashup of Twin Peaks and Parks and Recreation.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. The Lara Flynn Boyle intro is hilarious.

We did a marathon of American Horror Story yesterday and the night before.

It's pretty good, although I frequently got the feeling that the writers didn't really know what they were doing. The pilot episode made some pretty tall promises concerning all-out horror, but from there it very quickly turned into a psycho-drama.

Which I guess is the problem with horror television -- most often, what is legitimately scary is the unknown. But a television program can't dangle the unknown for too long or else people start getting frustrated that none of their questions are being answered. It's a fine line, and I've seen it done better than on this show, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit and I'm looking forward to seeing how they end the season.

These are my exact feeling. The first 3 episodes were so good. Creepy, crazy, fun, weird and amazing performances, especially Jessica Lange. I haven't seen anything past the Halloween Pt. 2 episode, but you could already tell by then that they'd played out their best horror tricks.

For a show that started off without any real sense of porpoise or direction, Parks and Rec has wonderfully progressed into one of the most charming television shows I've ever seen. I'm up to date with the entire series now and I'm just so in love with every character. As much as I love Ron, I think Rob Lowe's character has quickly become my favorite though. I laugh my ass off every single time he's on the screen. I was never a fan of anything Amy Poehler did prior to this show either, but I am absolutely infatuated with Leslie. I really like that they decided to steer her away from being a ditsy blonde into brilliantly smart and funny woman that just happens to be a bit naive to a lot of things. My heart melts when she makes that puppy dog face or does something nice for a coworker. I almost got choked up when she arranged that private birthday dinner for Ron. Seriously, such an amazing lady.

That was great.

Ron trying to make the gingerbread house was also great.
