That second season of Homeland kind of sucked. Definitely doesn't deserve all of the Golden Globes it's winning.

I gotta agree with Pea in that season 2 of Homeland was so entirely underwhelming (especially after all the hype), that I don't plan on getting around to watching the next season until I have watched every other show that I actually want to watch.

Homeland won for best series as well as Brody and Carrie?????? Fuck off. The Golden Globes clearly do not watch TV.

They aren't terrible, but they both have pretty much one gear in terms of acting on that show. Bullshit.

Eh, whatevs. I'm totally happy for Homeland. The first half of Season 2 of was absolute top tier. Apart from season two of Game of Thrones, which wasn't nominated, I'm not sure there was a better show on television.

Apart from all the love they gave Les Mis, I agree with just about all the choices made by the HFPA.

Also, Tina and Amy were flawless last night.

Treme's probably the only show on HBO that I don't watch. It's never done anything for me.

How about I come over to yours and Cat's with the DVD's and explain to you minute by minute why it is the best fucking thing ever on the planet Earth.

You can expect all the wonderful insights of, "Oh! Oh! Watch this part. It's so good! Did you see it? How good was that?" and more convincing arguments of the sort!

Drew can attest to these powers of persuasion from our time together at Feist! (Sorry 'bout that bro!).

The Community season premiere is fast approaching, and though I know it won't be the same without Dan Harmon, one can't help but hope that the last 13 episodes will be awesome anyway.
